IMC S.A. agricultural enterprises in Ukraine have completed the spring sowing campaign. A total of 19.2 thousand hectares of sunflower and 50.2 thousand hectares of corn were sown.
Given the 18.4 thousand hectares of winter wheat sown in the fall of 2021, as of today 73% of the Company’s land bank is sown. The rest of the lands in the Chernihiv region were under active hostilities, so the area is currently being inspected for explosives (mines, blind artillery and mortar shells, missile remnants, etc.).
IMC enterprises have started preparations for the winter wheat harvesting, which will take place in the summer of 2022. We are repairing and preparing the relevant agricultural machinery for field works and preparing elevators for the grain harvest of 2022.
IMC is gradually resuming grain exports. The first shipments are expected in the coming weeks.
