Dubai to Gather More Than 30 Heads of State and Government, Global Leaders at the World Governments Summit 2025

Representatives from 140 countries and leading technology companies will convene in Dubai from February 11-13 to collaborate on addressing the world’s most pressing issues. The event will be attended by 30 heads of state, the Managing Director of the IMF, and CEOs from prominent companies such as Google, AstraZeneca, MasterCard, and Dow Jones.

The 12th edition of the World Governments Summit (WGS 2025) brings together influential leaders from around the world, including heads of state and tech visionaries, to address the future of governance, technology, and economic resilience. This summit aims to shape solutions that will drive global progress over the next decade.

The Dubai summit from February 11th to 13th will bring together over 30 heads of state and government, 400 ministers, 80 international organizations, 140 government delegations, and 6,000 participants. The focus will be on finding solutions for economic stability, digital transformation, and the potential for public-private collaboration to drive meaningful change.

In a time of rapid technological advancements and significant global changes, WGS remains the leading platform for governments, industries, and global institutions to make meaningful impact.

Creating Global Impact Through Collaboration

The World Governments Summit aims to foster collaborative solutions that bring together governance and innovation to achieve real-world results. Over 300 global experts will take part in discussions, leading to the creation of 30 strategic reports.

Over 200 interactive sessions will cover urgent topics such as the role of AI in governance, the future of mobility, economic resilience, climate adaptation, global health transformation, emerging frontiers, and population decline in 21 forums.

The summit aims to promote global cooperation, exchange of knowledge, and practical strategies to empower nations, industries, and societies in navigating uncertainty and building a more resilient and equitable future for all. Key international organizations will be represented by leaders such as Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States; Haitham Al Ghais, Secretary-General of OPEC; and Jasem Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
