European smartphone company launches 5G device with no-panic-button for cost-conscious consumers

With over 30 years in the European market, emporia is known for its award-winning products. According to Karin Schaumberger, International Sales and Marketing Manager at emporia, the emporiaME.6 is designed for those who prioritize the protective features of a phone.

Our latest ME.6 is equipped with all the features you need in a modern device, including 5G capability, Android 13, a high-end triple camera setup with Camera Pro, an octa-core processor for fast performance, NFC technology, voice input, and ASHA support for superior sound quality, even with hearing aids. Additionally, the ME.6 includes a fingerprint sensor, a must-have for accessing digital services in many European countries.

Furthermore, the emporiaME.6 now includes a no-panic-button for easy access in times of need. The button, featuring a red circle and heart, is conveniently located on the back of the phone, eliminating the need to navigate menus or use complex keystrokes.

By holding down the button for three seconds, the phone will automatically dial the international emergency number 112 and send your location to your emergency contacts for a quick response. At the same time, the phone will flash and sound an alarm to attract nearby attention.

„The assistance button offers peace of mind, ensuring you’re never truly alone,” asserts Karin Schaumberger. It’s an asset in various scenarios, like returning home in the dark.

ME.6 boots up in Android mode, but also offers a simplified interface with large, easy-to-read fonts and icons. This mode brings all notifications, such as missed calls, emails, and messages, into one convenient Info Centre.
