In a press release on December 4, 2024, Colliers, a leading global professional services company, announced the promotion of John Munday to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Colliers UK. Munday will assume his new role on March 3, 2025, and will be in charge of leading the top-tier UK transactional and advisory services business, which consists of over 1,000 employees.
With 30 years of industry experience, Munday has successfully expanded businesses offering a wide range of property services and fostered the professional development of the individuals within those organizations. In 2022, he joined Colliers as Co-Head of Project & Building Consultancy after a strategic partnership was formed with Paragon, one of the UK’s largest independent building and project consultancies, where he served as Co-Managing Director. Munday has been a dynamic, well-connected, and results-oriented leader at Colliers, driving the company’s project management and asset enhancement services for investor, owner, and occupier clients.

Following Tony Horrell’s announcement of his retirement in June, Munday will take over as the new CEO of Colliers’ UK business. Horrell, who has been CEO for the past 14 years, will transition to a non-executive chairman role, providing support for clients and business development.
With Munday at the helm, Colliers UK is set to enter its next phase of growth, building on the foundation laid by Horrell during his tenure as CEO. His leadership and experience will be instrumental in driving the company forward in the coming years.
