Stefan Mappus has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the EUTOP Group, joining long-standing Managing Director Christian Schaufler in leading the Group. As a member of the management board, Stefan Mappus will oversee EUTOP’s client business, leveraging his extensive experience in politics, administration, and business to benefit the Group’s clients.

After completing an apprenticeship as an industrial business manager at Standard Elektrik Lorenz AG and finishing his military service, Stefan Mappus studied economics and social sciences at the University of Hohenheim. He then became a research assistant at the university. In 1996, he was elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg, leading to a full-time career in politics. From 1998 to 2011, he held various political positions, including Minister President of the State of Baden-Württemberg. After leaving politics in 2012, Stefan Mappus worked as an advisor to the Management Board of pmOne AG. He later became a member of the Management Board and held the position of Group CFO from 2017 to 2023.
